Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers,"" which debuts Sunday evening on the Ovation cable channel. It focuses on their work as art brokers, who work with collectors, artists and buyers. They filmed four episodes, which will air throughout October, beginning on Sunday, Oct. 4 7 p.m. Central. Ovation is the home of more than 50 million subscribers and promotes artists through the Ovation Digital Arts network. The pair are hoping to be granted the green signal soon to continue filming. I was fortunate to be able to take a lot of the classes in my major with Dr. Pope. She also took me to Chicago and Paris to study about art. Her enthusiasm for art was a lot of fun. She also mentioned that "Art history is like a puzzle. As art historians, we continue to search for the pieces that are connected." I was raised in the automotive industry by my dad and I was required to work at the dealership every summer. I worked as a mechanic assistant in the summer, performing oil changes and brakes.
